On 4-11 August 2014, I embarked on my first missions trip to Hanoi and Hai Phong, Vietnam.
Was feeling slightly unprepared and unsure of what to expect even on the day we were to leave Singapore for Hanoi itself. "I still don't feel like we are going Vietnam today.."
But this time, my team and I honestly witnessed a bigger glimpse of what it means when God says He has loved His children with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). Time and time again, God has answered our pre-trip prayers, and continually brought the right people to us in our trip, the people He desires to love through us to draw them closer to Him.
Before the trip, we prayed that God will bring August birthday babies to us, so that we will be able to celebrate their birthdays with them and bless them while we are in Vietnam in August.
And out of the 8 Vietnamese friends we met, 5 of them were born in August. And therefore we were able to bless and celebrate many birthdays for our new found friends, allowing God to touch their hearts through the blessings. :')
