Treasure in Jars of Clay

“Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.

2 Corinthians 4:6-10 ESV

Parts of life seem to be caving in simultaneously in the same moment this season in 2015 - but I refuse to give in to these adversities, to the adversity. Get behind me, enemy! God, will you use this human weakness and limitedness to show forth Your surpassing power in this earthen vessel. Now's the time for You to take control, I know I cannot anymore... and I won't move unless You do.
