Beyond Grateful

God has blessed immensely in this month of June.. much more than I could have ever imagined back in the start of the month. Thank You God for disrupting my feeble human plans :)))))

• learnt much, gained much, from a recent serving at the house of an uncle, Uncle Joe, to help him clear junk items out of his unit. crazy adventure, but it is well worth it to demonstrate Christ's love.
• new transfers - i mean SISTERS - into the family of nyc + nyc 6 since last week! vvvery exciting stuff. so so happy and blessed to be able to welcome new faces and precious lives of Christ into this wonderful group God has placed each of us in. :") Welcome Natalie, Neriah Yanjie, Jiayun and Wanqing! ♥
• learnt many new insights about God from this one Saturday, today. glimpsed a better picture of what our whole faith is really about through the final class of Book of Mark bible study. and learnt that worship is an opportunity for us to express our faith in Christ, in this evening's worship service. 
• Surrender: something which was repetitively emphasized in Word For Life (WFL) class this afternoon, and service after. Learnt that obedience means a surrendered will out of trust in God. You surrender to God because you trust Him. the concept of surrender was repeated in service. and God told me to surrender my pride to Him. something which i am aware is definitely hindering myself from drawing closer to Him. responded to the word, but i know this surely means more than a once-off act of raising arms - it requires a daily act of active surrender to God.
