Post-Acts Conference: The real beginning

Acts Conference was an amazing two days filled with God's works of miracles. And He has so graciously allowed His miracles to spill out even after conference ended, with several testimonies of healing on His people, by His people. Surely this is the time of boldly witnessing for Christ and His reality + goodness in everyone's lives..

Personal Objectives for Hope Acts Conference 2014

1. God to strengthen and empower me with His Holy Spirit to be a bold and courageous witness for Christ. Especially at home, and in ADM. And that the boldness and courage is to be anchored in solid faith, through Your Word.
2. Breakthrough in the lifegroup's spiritual atmosphere, as well as everyone's intimacy with God
3. To be more sensitive to the Holy Spirit's calling and prompting. (Can also be in area of prophecy, words of wisdom) As well as to have obedience in following through the HS' instructions.
4. A greater, deeper level of intimacy with God in worship and prayer.

Personal Takeaways from Hope Acts Conference 2014

On Love and Its Recipients:

1. Seek the Kingdom not for its benefits, but because I love its King
2. Our purpose as the Church is to reach out to the unlovely, the ostracised, the outcast, the rejects. (This is modelling after what Jesus did.) God's church should be one who goes to the lepers, not to be afraid of them.
3. Be full of love, Christ's love.
   
   
   On Miracles and Its Purpose:
4. Jesus healed the sick on earth not to show us that He can do miracles, but to prove that we can do it too.
5. Healing is an opportunity to demonstrate the Kingdom of Jesus.
6. Prayers don't heal people, Jesus does.
   
   
   On the Nature of God and His Sovereignty:
7. God's will is going to come to pass in the earth in one way or another, whether it is through you or not.
8. God wants to do miracles more than we want the miracles.
9. God looks at the heart, and for availability. An available vessel.
10. The anointing of God gives us favour.
11. Allow God to disrupt your plans. His ways are higher than your ways, His plans are far greater than your plans.
12. God looks for and honours obedience! Obedience to the Holy Spirit's prompting, Obedience to His call. Jump to it! And He will honour it!

God, thank You for graciously depositing more of Your love in my heart during the p&w session in Kairos Night yesterday night. Was tangibly moved by the intangible love stirred up by the HS and I knew it could not be the music, not the lyrics, alone.

Thank You for seriously opening my spiritual eyes to see more of who You truly are, and who You truly can be in my life. Thank You for putting in every one of us Your burden and love for Your unsaved children and children who are chained by the sicknesses by the enemy. Thank You for once again reminding me so clearly that You are undeniably real, good and loving to Your people. Thank You for bringing hundreds of people to Christ and to be miraculously healed of their sicknesses last night!

Thank You for speaking a word of encouragement to Clarice through the mental picture You deposited in my mind in the first p&w session of Day 1 in the morning. I'm genuinely thankful I made the decision to share the mental picture to her despite feeling unsure and slightly confused, because I know such encounters are not incidents. Thank You for allowing me to exercise the gift of prophecy despite not faithfully using it as much as I should have the past few months.

Thank You for all the work You have done to draw Your child, my cousin, Jack back to You, from 2 weeks ago when we first went for the ADM Grad Show together, to moving in him to agree to go to NYC Retreat, to our first outing together, and now to going to Acts Conference's Healing Rally, and impromptu extending his time to Kairos Night as well. God, move in his heart, and convince him that You are here, You are near, and You are Love.

Thank You for working Your hands of miracles once again, last night at home, when two prayers were said for my mom's full healing of her blocked ears. Thank You for unblocking 90% of her ears and I thank You in advance for the complete healing and unblocking that is to come!

Thank You for sensitising me to Your Spirit much more; I am now more aware of Your presence and the HS wherever I go. I pray that You will continue speak to me both tangibly and intangibly, as well as to the rest of the lifegroup. I have also come to understand the greatness of the name of Yours, Jesus! This name that is able to enable healings and miracles and great works in people! :")

God, I pray and ask that You may supply an abundant supply of oil for this little servant of Yours here, as she continues to walk through this year of 2014 with You, Lord. Help me to apply all these new revelations You've taught me from conference in my life from here on. I ask for You to equip me with resources and things of wisdom to sustain this relationship with You, and to keep myself consistently close to You, as well as to maintain a heart of nothing but thanksgivings to You.
