Stayed over at Hsienjuen's hall on a spontaneous spur of the moment last night after leaving the exam hq from studying.. haha! It was nice to hang out w a sister/friend and build friendships in the midst of studying and doing work!
Slept for 5 hours too cause we had to get up early despite leaving the old hq at 140am. Haha! HJ's studying stamina is 😱😱😱
Met up w Nicole today @ Bugis to streamline our collaboration publication designs. Turned out to be tricker than it looked and we ended up not finishing everything when we both expected ourselves to. Hahaha! Also, had an interesting experience as an Indonesian tourist working (?? couldnt really comprehend his accent fully) in Turkey approached us to seek advice regarding cheap hotel accommodation in the vicinity. Talked about MADO, baklavas, Turkish ice cream with the man, Akin in the end hahaha!!
Could rly feel that God was nudging us to open our eyes and be sensitive to the needs of His people around us even as we met up to rush our design work. Am rly glad and wna affirm Nicole for being such a pleasant and hospitable helper to attend to his questions, partly cause she was seated between Akin and me and thus I couldn't catch a lot of what he was asking due to his soft voice! But then again, I can't blame my lack of intentionality to talk to him on his volume hahaha.
But I must admit I really do enjoy such seemingly random and spontaneous conversations with strangers. I realise all the strangers I happen to converse with are always tourists... hahaha!
And I think 5h of sleep + full blown aircon in Popeyes may be making me prone to developing a cold. So imma combat that with extra sleep tonight. Haha! Good night!
