Liberation

Just experienced the most enjoyable drawing studio class ever today.

For drawing studio this week, we are to choose a song we like and are familiar with, and create an artwork without any pre planning, yet considering the Elements of Design as we make it.

I chose the song "I Would Do Anything For You" by Foster The People.

Today's class was the most liberating one of the entire foundation year. Learnt how to embrace my style and uniqueness in artmaking more today. Once too often we try too hard to emulate other artists, other styles, when we forget that we alr have an innate style unique to ourselves within us.
May this spirit of freedom, confidence and security continue to flourish in the rest of my works from today onwards, as I continue to make art for His glory!
