Worth It

Preface: 1st entry of a public blog! Since forever! Haha..
Decided to try resuming public blogging again, because I want to be able to update my life with friends whom I want to update to (and whom are genuinely interested to update themselves with events in my life) without receiving unnecessary attention and viewership on social media platforms. Kind of like employing the 'self-service' (/'self-check') method again? But it's all good.


T'was a memorable last Wednesday before recess week indeed.

"You need to let it go. Trust yourself less... and trust God more. I'm telling you this as a fellow brother- to sister-in-Christ... Have more faith in God. Know that He is the ultimate Creator, so rest in Him and let Him do the work. When you take on this partnership with Him, your art will take on a different form."

This was the advice my drawing tutor gave me for critique on my in-studio artworks done today morning.
Always refreshing, and always inspiring to glean from his personal convictions of God and art (of which he sees to be the same, undistinguishable, because he sees God's little fingerprints everywhere in art and nature).
Always thankful to be able to hear such invaluable advice on not just art, but on life and living a life of doing art and design to glorify God from this mentor.

Life group (LG) was good too, am glad we had a good time of fellowship and worship w Jesus tonight! And am rly happy we managed to end on time and not overrun HAHA! It was a good time of praying for one another, too! Praying that Tim's bro will have a softened heart towards Jesus and decide to know Him more and settle down in His community in Hope/a church!

Tham, Sabby, Eileen and I were so HIGH from silly cheap thrill conversation miscommunication in the WhatsApp group too before LG started hahaha! And the high carried over to the start of LG! It's silly times like these which really matter! Haha!

Ate supper at Mac's with Sab and Tham after LG had ended. Shared briefly about my drawing tutor's inspiring life testimony and his spiritual quotes, haha! It was good to be out meeting people who matter up once in a while at night in school, instead of being cooped up in the hall room!

In the night, I was called up by Eileen to suggest giving the LG's box of encouragement messages for Bren (which was w me) to Bren together w her, which I did. Called Jolie out to join in too hahaha, and Eileen prayed for all of us. (Aw thnx ♥) First time meeting up with the fellow Sixers in NYC after one sem! Interesting :-) Then Eileen and I proceeded to ADM to bless HH next w healthy drinks, 'cause she had to spend the night at the animation dungeon (lol) to finish up her animation work amidst nursing a sore throat. Conveniently brought the cruiser board along to skate a bit at ADM too. Haha! Been too long since I last cruised, man.. Anyway-- Get well soon HH! All the best with your hip hop dancing friend (character)! I'm sure it'll turn out great because God will enable it to be :-)

Roomie is having 3 more tests this week too, oh dear.. offered to pray for her but she politely declined. Nonetheless I'm just really happy that Jesus prompted me to pray for her as well! Thanks for helping me to love others more w Your love, J!

What an extraordinarily long Wednesday! But it was so worth the time. It's going to be just another day to mightily give thanks for. :")
